Was at St Marys Res. on sat, fishing for walleye, pike , fishing was slow, at 4.30pm decided to head for home as i was leaving my favorite spot i had not drove 100yds i heard a bang then smoke and flames started coming from under the hood,.
     I first figured that terroists had got to my truck,    i bailed grabbed all personal gear hauled it a safe distance and my watched my old faithfull truck go up in flames, i,m surprized that no one saw the fire- ball in Lethbridge, gets pretty lonely on the prairie when one is on foot , I geass i should get one of those little mirrors so could check the under side of my vehicle for bombs from now on. can,t trust ones friends any more     Who said fishing was a safe sport.

  Thanks for the offer nate, but i do have a line on pickup, what days are you planning on being at Grassy, we may possibly may see you on the ice, Randy and myself going that way this weekend.

RIP another ford!!!

Sorry to hear about that Sonny.  Unfortunatly, your incident reminded me to put my fire extingusher back in my Ford as well.  You can never be too careful.  Hope to see you on the ice, if there is any left in the next few weeks.
